I got version 1.2 a short time ago, and it worked as promised. But it lacked somewhat in the looks department. The font size for the credit card numbers was really small making it hard to read the inputted credit card numbers. It also looked more like a windows app than an iPhone app. Now that version 2.0 is here, I downloaded it, and its looks have improved and it has a bigger, easier to read font when you type in the c/c number! I had emailed them asking for this and they wrote back saying they would and they did! The buttons you press to choose different items have been updated to have that Jelly Bean look that Apple icons frequently have ... it looks more Mac like, and they've also added the ability to do reoccuring billing which is a further enhancement that just makes it more useable. Also, the update was free from version 1.2 to 2.0 so thats even better still ... I think their cust. service is excellent!
This is a functional if not pretty or elegant tool. I had some difficulty setting it up but got very friendly help from the company when I called them (thanks!). It works, its got that going for it. I just wish it was more 'iPhone like' rather than feeling more like a DOS program that was ported to the phone. For example, why does it have such tiny buttons that are hard to push? Why can you not pinch to expand so the tiny text is more easily readable? Why does it let you touch 'Submit' where there is not card number entered (DUH?) and then give you an error! Arrrgh. Well, hopefully it will get better.
